About

Photography is an instant recollection of a moment in time, a beautiful blessing of images of time and space, the impact we have as the photographer is how we want to show the image to the viewer, the atmosphere, the feelings are not only portrayed in paintings, but in a growing world of technological advancement can we create true art through the lens of a camera

i have been interested in photography from the age of eight years old ive grown up with an extremely creative family , my mum is a painter my sister is an artist, my father a musician, i am also a musician and have found that when i make music i also see images and the two go hand in hand.

i still have a very long way to go in developing my experience as a photographer but all creative pursuits are a journey in which my art and my work will develop through the course of time and of course the ever evolving future of the spec of new cameras and there potential.

Woking dance space

i love the challenge of capturing movement, the pace and energy and the expression of feelings within different dance genres, the lighting the costumes the colour the movement. Katherine Anne Ferris has been a major influence in teaching me and helping me on my journey through dance photographing

Kane FM

i take pictures for a library of events and record images of music for people and places,

the atmosphere of live events and music is full of aliveness, energy and people are often engaged within a moment.

Landscapes

i have always been connected with nature as i have been taken on many painting trips with my mother from a young age where she sat and painted us on the beach whilst i played, it was inherent that i took the path of using photography as the appreciation she taught me for all the unnoticed glimpses of time, and had a passion that grew early to capture the beauty of the moment and the colours and light. She often spoke about great painters and i have delved into my photography from an art background.
